I actually was able to tie up some loose ends on this very special day of May 3rd. Actually the day itself is not that glorious of a day - it was windy but the sun is still managing to poke its rays through so I shall not complain - (entirely- haha).
Anyways - so seeing as I am nearing my end of stay here in Marburg I had to tie up some loose ends.
1- closing my now pointless bank account @ Volksbank
2- Purchasing tickets to Paris
Well both went off without a hitch - this just makes me flash back the the beginning days of being here in Marburg and freakin' out when I heard I would have to open a Bank account! My German was so broken then - the poor bank teller - Bruno. Such a nice guy, he didn't know what he got himself into.

Accomplishment Number 2 - Buying Tickets
That's right folks.. I have officially purchased mine and Alex's tickets to Paris :) I can not wait - we have things planned and ideas of what we want to do. It will be good to see Tom again and Emilie too. Paris is an amazing city and they are lucky to live there!
As for other news - Yesterday my Conversation Class went to a movie - Alamanya - Willkommen in Deutschland. It was a really good movie, I was able to follow it and I generally enjoyed it. Even though the site is in German I think you may get the gist of it - so check it out.. If not just at least listen to the music on the site... it is awesome!!!! The story is about a Turkish family that moves to Germany and then about their lives as they take a trip back to Turkey or their homeland. (land of their father) >> Check it out! Almanya <3
On a more serious note - I should probably be focusing on my paper and presentation that I need to do. The presentation is pretty much done - just need to practice and the paper well.. I have an extremely rough outline haha when I say rough I just mean my ideas not even sources - so wish me luck with that one.
Well I am off to do some working of the outs.. haha jk jk working out. and then buckling down on some Hausaufgaben (homework)
So I hope your May 3rd is Fantabulous <3
Ris :)
Bummer! You don't get to keep your bank card? Perhaps I won't close my account after all...it should close automatically if there's no money or activity for a few months, right? :P Haha. I will have to find out.
