Let me see here: hmm.. Monday the 27th.. nothing to special occured.. just classes.. oo and Beth and I made the rest of our meet and ate Tacos again!! :) Es schmeckt sehr gut!
Tuesday 28th- We recieved a bunch of hw in class it was deff a debby downer moment
I went to the store and bought Food that was desperately needed.. mainly milk and juice :) can't live with out that
I also picked up my bank card.. so i offically have one now :) woot woot
Hmm then I went to a book store with Beth and I purchased two small children's books in German.. So when I come home I can read them to Marlee and Cameron.. and hopefully Marlee will go to German Immersion school and then I can help her :) that would be sooooo cooool.. lol but we shall see how it goes.
 Then later that night Steph (not Stef.. which i have been writing. it is wrong.. i am sorry) and Kayte and I made amazing looking salad and I ate mushrooms.. OMG i never thought that would happen.. lol It wasn't that bad either.. yep that is all
Wednesday 29th- Was a rough day for me
I found out when alex is coming to visit me that was a deff plus to the day.. I also talked to Amanda BRIDLEMAN it was good.. and next time she is gonna get her webcam fixed so i can see her.. lol :)
then I bought my bahncard the 50% one with Beth.. so it should be shipped soon ;) Im soo excited for all this buying things.. the sad part of my day.. i had major headache all day and then I broke my tupperware yesterday and then i found out that my internet is going to be difficult.. so we shall see how that goes.. too next week sometime hmm then for dinner i had Brinner.. it was amazingly good.. french toast and fruit and juice and egg in a hole.. it was sooo yummy and toast.. it was a great meal then i went back to my dorm and then did some hw and killed a fickin huge spider.. lol  it was huge.. i took a picture.. it will be up at a later date and then I watched some of the Princess and the Frog then called it a night
Thursday 30th- today was not that bad of day 
Got up went to class got a bunch more of hw.. then i had a peanut butter and banana sandwich it was awesome :) yummy  and then we had a role play which went well.. i was the car company trying to relocate your business and we chose poland and yes now i am catching up with internet seeing as i will not have it until monday.. that earliest i believe if i bring my computer then.. going over to my friend johns for some dinner and a house warming party lol.. :)
Then off to bed and packing for our trip to Rudesheim.. Love you all <3

Oktoberfest!!!

So.. I have returned safely from the extravaganza called Oktoberfest in Munich :)
It was soo much fun.. We boarded our train at roughly 2:45pm and then we took either 4 or 5 trains to get to Munich.. However..  I smelt like an alcoholic.. bc the wine that we brought spilt all over my clothes.. soo hence the reason why i reaked.. but it wasnt to bad.. Kaytes cousin let me do laundry.. oo and hannah.. the doll got soaked with wine.. so that is the reason why he was soaking in the sink and then he was placed in the dryer.. he had a bath.. lol :)
Overall, it was great.. we arrived at like 10:30 pm where we met kaytes cousin.. she was supppperrrr nice!
We just kind of chilled and then had some nice apple strudel and it was great and then had some wine and relaxed and prepared for sleeping. Then Beth pushed me out of the bed and now i have a great big bruise.. on my leg.. Thanks BETH.. :)
Then we woke up and then we made our way to Oktoberfest... The trains weren't to busy.. and it was great experience.. it was a mix of Summer-fest and State-fair and just a Carnival.. There were rides.. we went on three rides two roller coasters and a Carousel.  It was really cool.. Then we bought some souvenirs and just chilled and then more so went back to drop some stuff off had some good pizza and then went back and met up with some people from our group in the hauptbanhof in Munich.. and it was a fun time.. then we headed back to her cousins house.. where us four college students got in our pjs and relaxed while the adults were still out on the town live it up.. it was rather funny...
Then we went to bed and then woke up to some nice eggs and bacon ..yummmm.... and then we tried on the German dresses and took pictures.. and then Kayte's cousin was like.. that is going home with you.. and I was like WHAT???? no way.. soo now i own a Dirndl.. it is green :)
Then we went to the Oktoberfest again and this time we actually had a bier :) lol it wasn't that great tasting but I can now say that I have had a beer at Oktoberfest for the 200th year!!
Then we 3 out of four of us got out of the tent with our Steins :) Kayte needs to work on her poker face.. but i love her anyways..:)
Then we took our long ride back to Marburg.. it was great.. yep yep then made it home in time to sleep and then woke up this morning and shut my alarm off.. lucky i woke up early enough to catch the bus to class. lol today was deff a slower morning :)

To update before the long weekend

Soooo.. Today is thursday and i will be leaving the library shortly.. seeing as it is dark out and I don't wanna walk alone all by myself.. it is scary.  Anyways.. back to my updating of my life here in Marburg, Germany.
Well on Tuesday after my last blog.. I had class :) woohoo.. then we had a beautiful tour of the tunnels in Marburg Castle.. it was really pretty there are pictures on my facebook, umm well not yet.. maybe by next week or if I have time tonight they will be up :) But the tour was really cool and i fully enjoyed it :) Oo and then later Paul made homemade pizza and we ate that and then I played poker with the guys.. Texas Hold'em.. it reminded me of gmas and gpas.. we will have to play again this summer :)
Then on Wednesday it was nice again.. so I wore a dress :) go me.. lol.. Then we had class same as usual then for our conversation class we went to a cafe :) it was rather fun and it had a beautiful view :)
 Then I made Tacos with Beth for some people and they were delicious.. :) yaya I know how to make another thing .. slowly improving then I made it back to my dorm in time to do laundry.. yes I did wash finally lol.. but now My clothes are hanging wet on a clothes line that is hooked from my closet to my window.. there will be a picture on facebook of this ridiculousness.. But whatever works right?>> I think so
Then today was a bit of a sad day, my neighbors have left me.. :( meaning sam and natalie.  I didn't even really get to say goodbye. But they left me with the things that they were not able to take with them like spices and bags and a GARBAGE CAN and  a RUG and some lotion it was crazy.. I was so lucky ;)
Oo and today I received a post card from Melissa ( a friend of my mothers) it was super nice.. it has a Wisconsin cow on it :) But on the bright side I gave my presentation today in my tour I think i did well.. oo and i wore a skirt again cuz it was WARM again.. AMAZING!!! but tomorrow isnt supposed to be so nice.  Well I leave for oktoberfest tomorrow I am very excited :) and whatelse do i need to write.. hmmm I had a whole bunch to write.. mb it will come to me.. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks i will have internet in my room so i dont have to make the long trek to the library hmm oo i remembered.. there is this really good wine that is made locally i think i have mentioned it before.. I have offically tried it now.. tastes like juice.. it is very good.. I think I may stock up so other ppl can taste it.. Does anyone know if i can legally bring alcohol home??? I don't know that rule.  Well I think that is all for now.
I won't be on till at least Monday I hope the States is great for everyone and everything goes well and that the packers cream the bears on Sunday.. Scream loud and proud!!

PEANUT BUTTER!!

soo as you can tell from this title.. i have found peanut butter :) at only one store.. but I had to buy it.. so today I am having a peanut butter and banana sandwich for lunch with some pretzels all are a good investment :)

Umm what else can i write about during our 20 min break in language class.  Yesterday was overall a pretty normal day except I wore a dress and that we went on a walking tour that was guided by my fellow students.  It was quite a long walk.  (I have to give my presentation  or walking tour on Thursday.)
After class we went to the hauptbahnhof to look at tickets for Oktoberfest.. and guess what we bought them.. I am going to Oktoberfest on friday-sunday for only 20 Euros.. what a steal!!  I am excited and so are the girls <3
Then we went shopping where I bought my Peanut Butter and lettuce and some wine that everyone says is amazing.. it was under 2 euros for a bottle so i figured I would try it.. oooo and its locally made in Marburg, so it has to be good right?? lol Let's hope.  Then went back to my room and rearranged my room again.. this is like the 3rd time but I actually like it this time.. :) and did taebo.. haha.. it was a little advanced for me but it was still fun then later i made dinner.. and i managed to slice my finger on a very sharp knife trying to cut a head of lettuce while cooking chicken.. I was multi-tasking :) Then did some hw.. yaya.. then watched you me and Dupree with Kayte then off to bed for me.. so not to exciting..
oooo wait I almost forgot I bought a scarf yesterday and a whisk and some tacks for my posters and I had ice cream!! Spaghetti Eis .. it was good and a lot of ice cream. :)
Well off to class again.. maybe we will play another speaking game :)

Freedom Friday

Sweet Caroline.. OO.. OO.. oo.. Good time never seem so good....
Karaoke was fun  I did not sing tho, because there was not enough time.  However, a lot of people in my group did get to sing the opening song was Sweet Caroline-which reminded me of LACROSSE.. I miss you guys <3 It totally made me think of you.  Then Friday we had class yay for class lol. Then I met Stef's Friends from Hamburg Chris and Patrick. Both were very cool and spoke very well English.  We just chilled at Stef's with the boys and Senta, a girl that I met earlier she lives in Marburg and has helped Stef and us navigate around.  Then Saturday was the long day.  I got to the Trainstation with my neighbor Sam and his friend Nick to catch a 9:35 Train to Mannheim.  It was fun the train lasted for about 3 hours not to long :) It was good.  When we got there we walked around and I had Thai food for the first time ever! It was really good it was a bit Spicy but I enjoyed it.  Then we walked around some more and stumbled upon a Water fountain area, there were a couple of people taking pictures of weddings, it was great place for pictures. It was extremely pretty :) I loved it.  We stayed there for awhile then walked around until we met up with Sam's Friend Margot who lives there. She gave us a tour of the Castle-where there library is located inside :) it was really pretty.  Then we saw the Castle Church which was also pretty, it made me think of Lita.  <3
Then had some of the best hot chocolate ever!! It was very good :) 
Then we went to a mosque it is the largest one in Germany- it was my first time in a mosque it was gorgeous and I really enjoyed it :) a great taste of different culture and religion. 
The whole time Nick & Sam and Margot were speaking German- so i did a ton of listening.. and I got by pretty well.. that is a sign of improvement for knowing what they were saying.. yaya!!Then we caught the train back home at 7:35 to arrive back in Marburg at 10:30 for me to rush home and then get ready to go out with Stef and her friends :) we went to the bar for Holly's 20th b-day and then we went Clubbing.. :) I LOVED it.. i can't wait to find more clubs.. and dance the night away.  I slept over at Stef's and then this morning I woke up at 11 then went to the Bakery and then made my way back home and unpacked and settled in and now I am in the Library! lol What a long weekend.. Tomorrow I have class.. and then go shopping using the shopping list I made.. im all grown up hahaah.. nooo :)

Productive Thursday

Howdy all!!
I dont have much time to write.. for I must attend Karaoke tonight :)
But I wanted to say class was boring today... we learned what a noun was.... ummm.. pretty sure that is what you learn right away.. it was a waste of class everyone was like.. REallly????
but then I opened a bank account at Volks mittlehessen I believe is how its spelt opps
Then I went to my other class and did a role play.. I was the FRG with stef we rocked it out.. got pretty much everything we wanted :) woo hoo for us
then off to get internet.. i bought it for my room.. except..... I wont get it for like another 2-3 weeks.. major bummer because the 4th floor internet.. ends tomorrow...oooo no..i guess i will be off to the lib alot to get internet.... gotta love not having wirless..
well Im off to make some sort of dinner and maybe will be on later :) to talk after karaoke

Today was a lil better

Today I had class and then did some hw and played a cool game it was rather nice actually :) I got to meet some new ppl today :) Sarah & Wan-Shing.. they both are super nice Sarah is from Ghana and Wan-Shing is from Taiwan.  then after that off to the Mensa.. for some Lunch then to the conversation course that i have normally on wed but ours was canceled because we are having karaoke tomorrow night.. :/ ekkk its extra credit if we sing in German.. lol We shall see if I have enough courage to do so..:) mb
Then I had internet and i was hoping I would recieve an email regarding my classes that I wish to take in order to get credit.. but no.. no response yet.. its super frustrating.. Then I was researching cheap flights to go visit Tom and Em in Paris but I can not seem to find any.. until right now.. so mb that is a good sign.. well like i said yesterday I have a flight to Budapest in Dec Im soo excited!! Hmm then I tried to open a bank account but the banks all close here at 4 because it is a small city :( but on a plus side I have my Student Visa and my Passport back.. and i have an appointment to open a bank account tomorrow.. go me!
Then I went shopping for Food.. I bought another box of special K(yumm), some more milk cuz I am officially out of mine.. and some more bread because we used it up yesterday when we made Grilled cheese sandwiches.. those were good.. hmm i also bought some ketchup and granola bars to eat as snack food.. all good healthy choices haha..
Well then I made it back home and I started to make dinner.. remember that chicken that I failed at earlier well I was gonna try again with the oil that i had purchased earlier on in the week..and GUESS WHAT!!!!! It was amazing it tasted like chicken strips from home.. it was soo good and I had ketchup and now i feel accomplished after that I stuck pictures up everywhere in my room so now it looks like home <3 and I also put up the posters than took a nice long hot shower... and here I am waiting for family to make it on line.. to maybe talk to them.. lol .. well I love you all and I will see you all very soon :)

looooonnnngggg tuesday

Well today had its up and it had its downs.. Class was fine today.. I slept decent last night except for waking up at 3:00am.. it wasn't to nice.  then went to lunch had some potatoe thing and then after the next class I got my package from meine Familie!! it was huge and everyone was like WHOA how much did that cost them?? and I was like umm.. no idea but I needed it.. !! Umm some sad news about class is that one of my classes that I signed up for in October got CANCELED!!! major bummer I was totally looking forward to that class -Gender and Politics in international Comparison.. bummer oh well.. looking for a new class as we speak.. I hope I can find one that I will get credit for...
Then we went over to Stef's house made grilled cheese and tomato soup and then attempted to make cookies from scratch.. lol well when I say attempted I mean it.. lol they aren't to bad tho.. still eatable..  and watched PETER PAN my favorite....then made it home with my huge box! <3 Then unloaded it and was amazed at what I all saw.. Thanks mom the posters are amazing and so are the containers and the movies.. where did we get all those from????? You hooked me up majorly.. so that was a good thing in my day..
otherwise im crabby lol.. its a good thing that I will be going downstairs to do hw then to bed..
I also am just being a big baby right now.. ugh.. oh well not all days are going to be amazing.. gotta take life with a grain of salt!

Müde Montag

Today was Monday the 13th of September.
Last night I had one of the weirdest/worst nights rest that I have had in a long time.  For instance I went to bed at 11:30, fell asleep right away only to wake up around 12:40 thinking that it was time to get up- I got out of bed and started to change for class, but then I looked at the clock then crawled back in bed.  So then I went back to sleep only to wake back up at 2:30 to do the same thing, then realized that it was only 2:30 i went back to bed.. then i slept until 6:36 and rolled back over waiting for my alarm to go off at 7:00 so it went off and I shut it off and fell asleep until 7:20 to wake up and eat a hurried breakfast to catch the bus at 7:50 I hope tomorrow morning goes much more smoothly and I hope I sleep well tonight :)

So I heard the Packers won last night :) bummed I couldn't watch but way to go PACK!! <3

The rest of my day wasn't to bad, I went to class and in class today I completed a whole paragraph by myself and read it outloud.. and guess what.. it was completely correct! woo hoo.. oo the simple things of life haha
then I had vegetable pasta that looked like lasagna it was pretty dang tasty.  The off to Culture class where I was the 4th person to give my presentation.. I think it went well.. it was on building the Berlin wall.  oo I even dressed up for it.. I wore a business looking skirt with a white shirt from NY&C  with a gray sweater :)
After class I went shopping with Stef and Kayte I invested in more Kleenex and Fe-breeze and cough drops for my cough and im forgeting something.. hmm.. ooo yeah.. paper towel! all where much needed!
Then I went home and unpacked then went for a lovely run it was 1.20 miles.. and I felt amazingly good ... then did some abs and push-ups and then cleaned up and went over to my neighbors and had popcorn chicken and butter chicken with rice.. it was good.. and now I know how to make it so it will be a future meal for me :)  Then I did hw in sam's room and now I am on the internet! yaya.. well
 I think it is time for me to call it a night so I can maybe actually get some sleep :)

What a Daring Weekend

Hello my followers.. I apologize for the long time waiting to hear from me :)
Well Thursday Morning it was a Surprise- My morning Language class was canceled!! It was crazy an hour long bus ride for nothing.. it was kinda upsetting. but I explored with Beth for a while. it was nice.  Then we had our culture class.. it was fun didn't really do all to much.. then I went home and had Dinner @ my neighbor Sam's it was Lentil Soup it was really good.  I met a lot of people it was lot of fun. 
Friday was good too we had both classes... not to bad we had a role play of the Potsdam conference.  I was Germany talking to Great Britain. It was a tough role to be because I was in the hands of the allied powers. But it was  a good experience.  Then later I went bowling with Beth, Stef, Christina, and Kayte.  It was lot of fun and will deff be done again but on a cheaper day like Sundays between 2-8 pm.  For future knowledge.  Then we went to Raphaels one of our leaders for a party.  It was a fun night Stef and I bought Champagne it was not very good :( at all.. But I got to meet a lot more people a lot better at the party, like a boy named Nels from Pittsburgh.  Hes really cool and is a great person to just talk to. 
Then Saturday I slept in but then got up and met with my group to go on a hike to the tower!! It was an intense hike the hills were like 75* angle.. it was crazy. My boots for sure came in handy, this time.
I then attempted to make chicken chips for myself in my room.. the first one started out okay.. the other two.. were not good not even cooked all the way so I had to through them away.. :( sooo I had special K cereal again.. that seems to be my main meal.. lol I guess I am on the special K diet! <3 gotta love not knowing how to cook yet
Then we hit the town with the girls and Stef's friend Senta and Nicola.  They were pretty sweet!
I had some drinks at the bar with one of our leaders his name is Fritz, hes a cool dude. Everyone here so far has been quite nice that is in our group. I have developed some friend circles :) I took a taxi home with Savino, Kayte, and Paul it cost 3 Euros a person.  Not to bad. 
Then today is Sunday I woke up made eggs with Kayte in her Dorm. Which they actually turned out quite well I might add.  :) I am very proud of myself lol then I went to the library to work on my presentation that I must give tomorrow at class.  Then I talked to my parents and alex and uploaded photos and then at 5:30 went out for dinner with the girls I had Pizza Pisa or (hawaiin styled) it was very good but very big :) YUMMM

now i skyped with papa and my family while they are watching the packer game.. I am very jealous.. but mb will watch them at some later time:)

Mittwoch

Heute habe Ich einem Konversationen Kruz gehabt. Es war nicht so schwer.  Ich denke dass ich wolle mag es.
"Today I had a conversation class. It wasn't to hard. I think I will like it."
Ein bischen Deutsch fur die Americans! = a little German for the Americans!

So like I stated I had  Conversation class (plus our language class) today and it wasn't to bad, but it lasts through December.  In this class we speak German 90 minutes straight which will greatly help my lack of Conversational skills right now.. and I mean major lack I totally clam up and get nervous.. this needs to stop or I will get no where.
Then we had a tour of the city (Marburg- for those who don't remember where I am studying).
it was really cool we walked all the way up to the castle the small amount of steps that I actually counted that I went up was 139 steps.. so I deff got my work out with my laptop in my back pack and my books from class because I have no time to go back to my dorm between classes : / it makes for one long day.

But today was the first day I just chilled in my dorm sadly I don't have internet in my room but in the hallway up on the fourth floor i do for now.. I am currently sitting here with my neighbor Sam from seattle who I will be eating dinner with tomorrow evening.
Dinner this evening was on the run.. I had subway. ikik very American but i was hungry lol I ate with my friend Kate from New Jersey, it was nice to sit and chat.  Oh and I also did some hw with a bit help from Sam.  Sam also filled me in on alot about the train cards and the deals.. Oh and his friend Paul who i learned is form Illinoise showed me how to use the hot water thing above my sink.. slowly I am learning my new apartment.. lol slowly but surely I will be okay.. as soon as i get internet in my room I think things will finally fall into place.

On a sad note... I believe I am coming down with a cold, so I have been taking medicine and drinking extra fluids but just my luck it had to rain today :( it feels like it rains all the time. more so than ever now that I am here.  Well otherwise all is well, I will try to write tomorrow but we shall see, im thinking maybe a movie tomorrow night <3 love you all

Short blog

So today I don't have much to say except that I am extremely tired and exhausted but looking forward to the weekend.  Also I had dinner with a boy I met from Philly his name is John.  We made spaghetti and sauce and had bread.. with the pots we bought.  From the store that we found.. and the most important point of today was that I asked a native where I could find some pots and pans in German and she understood me and then she answered in German and I understood her!!!! It was awesome.. so again slowly improving... long road ahead of me..
On a different note I can't wait to skype with people.. and I should probably figure out what classes i will get credit for.  Oh and we got our Student visas today and our student internet accounts so now we can access wireless from all university buildings.. which is where I am now!! but i am still working on the dorms.. :( hopefully soon

Erste Tage!

So  we made it back from Berlin.. it was a long bus ride.. but fun in all. Overall, I would say the trip was a successful one at that.  Today is Monday I know that you all at home have this day off.  But we do not.. so today I had my first day of class. Which entailed one hour long bus rides there and back to my lovely buidling which is in the middle of no where.  Where then our class started.. I am in Stufe 1,2 .. so not to bad.. I think I may be in the right level.. but you never know.. I could maraciously be amazing.. haha.. well we shall see.

Then later we had our culture class but it was more of a tutoring session with the break down assignments.. and apparently i have to give a presentation on monday on the building of the Berlin wall.. :) not to bad I like that topic.
 So after a lot of confusion I decided to go shopping with some people.  That went over well, I bought a 2,99 E garbage can since i do not have one in my room and some hangers.. cuz it is much need :) lol However, i still need some new things more for my room but i think i may need to wait for my hopefully roommate in October :) at least I hope I get one :)
Along with buying that I went grocery shopping which was pretty nice :) i got some food other than special K but who knows how that will go.. ;) you all know im the worlds greatest chef haha not
Umm i also went on a run today which helped relieve some stress :) Great way to live <3 but then I went over to my friend Stef's room and watched a movie and hung out with Danny and Kate some of the people i met here that live around my dorm and in my dorm :)
so I am not doing to bad.. tomorrow is the second day of class and I should prolly try and find some internet for the future tomorrow :) well love you all and miss you from Marbug

Berlin!!!

Hello.. people who are keeping tabs on me.. tonight is my last night in Berlin and I arrived here in Berlin on Thursday after arriving in Marburg on wed lol ... it for sure is a crazy schedule.
  I saw some pretty cool things already.. Friday we went on a walking tour saw the Brandenburg gate and the Holocaust memorial and just chilled around.. we hit the night scene it wasn't to bad.  Today I walked to Checkpoint Charlie and saw a memorial for the Berlin wall. Then later in the afternoon we went to the East side Gallery.. it was great saw lots of the art and it was the one place I really wanted to go :) This is my first time in a hostel and its actually pretty nice. The one we are staying in is called Heart of Gold.. which is playing off of the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.  But now that I know how Hostels are, I have a better idea of what I should bring for next time <3

The people I am traveling with are pretty cool, they are from everywhere but there are some fellow Wisconsinites! Rock on!  My German is slowly I'm proving.. lol but I know that its going to take a while for that to be awesome.  But I have my basics and I have my new friends to help me :)
